About Dancer’s Pointe

Celebrating their 35th Year!

The Dancer's Pointe was established in 1990 as a neighborhood dance school and continues to to operate with the same philosophy with which it started 35 years ago - that a quality dance education can be offered in an atmosphere that is warm and caring.  Under the ownership of Susi Martucci and artistic direction of Kelly Salisbury, they are in good company with amazing professional teachers who teach students, ages 3 and up in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, musical theater, hip hop, lyrical and contemporary.  Their youth performance company, Pointe of Impact, competes, and performs throughout the community, supporting charitable fundraisers and other outreach events throughout Central Florida.  The studio is known for beautiful annual recitals, and as a long-time partner with Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, all of their students have the opportunity to perform in the world-renowned Steinmetz Hall.

As one of Orlando's longest established dance studios, The Dancer's Pointe is honored to represent Orlando for National Dance Day!  Below are the FREE beginning level classes The Dancer's Pointe will be offering in its celebration.  (Adventurous parents are welcome to join their children in any of the classes).

4:00 - 4:30 PM Ballet for ages 10+ with Stephanie Hickerty in Coral Studio** AND Hip Hop, ages 6-9 with Nikki Ickes in Aqua Studio***

4:30 - 5:00 PM  Ballet for ages 6-9 with Stephanie Hickerty in Coral Studio** AND Hip Hop for ages 10+ with Nikki Ickes in Aqua Studio***

5:00 - 5:30 PM  Mus Th, ages 6-9 with with Ron Weaver in Aqua Studio*** AND Ballet for ages 3-5 with Katy Salisbury in Yellow Studio*

5:30 - 6:00  PM Mus Th, ages 10+ with Ron Weaver in Aqua Studio*** AND Tap for ages 3-5 with Katy Salisbury in Yellow Studio*

*Yellow Studio class size limit of 8

**Coral Studio class size limit of 12

***Aqua Studio class size limit of 16
